Divide, 30"x80", oil and stain on wood, 2016

Artist statement

My paintings are an expression of human emotion through organic forms, saturation of color and use of natural light. It is an imposition of humanity on the natural world. Integrating human forms in landscape illuminates dark places and celebrates the sacredness of all things. My belief in the necessity of living in harmony with nature is expressed through this sublime and powerful fusion.
